I don't think percentages should matter. If a wedding planner happens to be a devout Christian and opposes gay marriage on that ground, I believe said planner should be able to decline the job.

Even if 100% of the business is in "weddings"

Not disagreeing with you, but calling it "special accommodations" or "going above and beyond" when you do the exact same thing for 40% of your customers is a bunch of bullshite.

Your confusion is that you equate attraction with acts associated with being attracted. They aren't the same.

This should be clear given that the case is about a baker not wanting to bake a cake for a gay wedding...not about a baker not wanting to bake a cake for someone who is attracted to the same sex.

Depends on his volume too.

4/10 customers total would be special. 400/1000 not as special.

so you are only gay if you act upon it?

In the context of this case, the act is the wedding. That's what's being argued...not being attracted to a same sex individual.

Not to mention that "special" doesn't have to be about volume at all but the additional effort. If it takes 3 hours to make a generic cake and 8 hours to make a specialty cake, it doesn't matter what the volume is as the specialty cake obviously would require more time, effort, and personalization.

Could also be $ volume. A wedding cake could be (probably is) much more expensive than standardized shop output. So the 40%, is that $ or product? A single large cake for the area's biggest nuptial of the year could be the entire 40% if measuring dollars.

It doesn't matter if he performs the same service for 100% of his customers, not using his artistic ability to design a cake celebrating a gay wedding is not discrimination based on the couple being gay, it is discrimination based on the couple's actions which is not illegal since their actions are not protected by law. I don't understand why the distinction is so difficult to understand.

If you chose to, could you derive sexual satisfaction from sucking off Cristiano Ronaldo?

He’s always my example of sexual attraction not being a choice. He’s objectively a gorgeous dude, but I don’t want to frick him.

Same thing as Rosie O’Donnell. She’s a chick, but I doubt many here would be sexually attracted to her.

If you’re a proponent of binary, non-choice sexuality then I don’t know how you can reconcile the two examples.
