Xi Jinping will end up being assassinated or overthrown by 2027, with China becoming a more open society.
I think you're about to start seeing a massive political shift inside China. Not necessarily aligning with the West, but more oriented towards pushing its footprint across the globe. You're not fully doing that under current regime.

I doubt that a coup would be successful. Xi would kill anyone he thinks would plot against him. Dictators are never shy about eliminating their opponents.

ETA: If there are issues in China, it's likely the WEF pulling the strings. If every country collapses at the same time, it will be much easier to install a one world government.

It’s far more likely that Xi is consolidating his power and using the military to take down many enemies at once, like Stalin did or like Saddam did at that infamous Ba’ath Party meeting in 1979.

I have a feeling that a "coup" is a diversion to hide military movements for the invasion of Taiwan. Perhaps blaming Taiwan for a coup/assassination attempt on Xi would ultimately be the CCP's Gleiwitz moment (that is to say, their official excuse to invade Taiwan.)
