Ronna McDaniel needs to go

I'm just not understanding the GOPs strategy. If they want the party to be more like Cheny and Romney, then why do they continue to court Trump and MAGA candidates? Ronna and the GOP needs to stop fence sitting and decide what direction the party is going.
Because I don't see enough in common with RINOs to continue sharing a party together. It would be best if we could part ways.

They would love to run off Trump backed candidates, but the party doesn't want to end up like Liz Cheney.

She is a Romney, of course she needs to go.

They cannot stop fence sitting because they need Trump supporters. The republican part is a motivation and propaganda cult. Their whole existence and support is solely based on creating drama and hatred of Democrats to motivate and engage conservative voters.
This is why they rarely ever take the offensive position on any policy or defense of policy. They want to succeed to have power by having you hate the other side more than you hate them.
The RNC is 100% RINO. Make no mistake about that. They are not grassroots people. They are controlled by many of the same people who fund Democrats.
Trump is not the RNC. He used the RNC to run for President and now the RNC wants to use Trump to get his voters.

Without them, they'd lose 80% of their races

They need us more than we need them

Issue is politics are a team sport and you need both the Romney types and the Ultra Maga crew to get stuff done to advance a conservative agenda. Yes I hope Romney gets voted out or retires some day soon but this is the broader political reality. That all said, DeSantis I believe unites both factions pretty well but I don't think Trump does.

The GOP is in effect the political wing of the chamber of commerce.
The chamber of commerce nationally isn’t MAGA and will not support or allow a true populist to run their party. They’d rather lose than allow that to happen which is why you see all the passive aggressive action against the tea party and MAGA groups which actually reflect the will of the conservative base.
They certainly won’t donate much towards those types of candidates and in some cases will actually throw their weight behind the DNC candidate depending on the situation. Just happened a few years ago in AL where the GOP torpedoed Roy Moore with fake hit pieces and pulled county level support which allowed Doug Jones to win. Like Moore or not, the GOP helped sell that guy down the river and the court case he just won showed it
You want to see it in action all you have to do is head down to your next GOP county meeting and start listening and asking questions.
The battle will have to be won from the ground up and it will mean everyone around here will have to get out and actually get involved

The vast majority of these candidates that Trump is backing will turn their backs on him as soon as they’re elected.

They seem to hate Trump, but love bantering his name about as a means to raise money.

Because Trump doesn’t control the money spigot, the GOPe does.

I do not disagree with this. Look no further than candidates supported by the Tea Party movement.

RNC calls me every other day asking for donations. I said i will donate to whom i think will represent my interests.
They said if we pool all our funds together then we can make a greater impact.
I said I am not giving money to Rona to give money to more RINOS. Get rid of her and call me back. Guy said I understand.

quote:This is certainly the case back in rural and small town middle Georgia. The townies who have businesses and law offices up on the courthouse square are all pretty much Bush bots and (not openly) hate MAGA to the max. Their portfolios are enhanced by companies that took their ball and ran to China for cheap labor. The white working-class dude that operates heavy equipment for a living doesn't have the inclination or the time to go rub shoulders with these folks. As a result, he is ceding the field to the courthouse crowd and letting them tell him who to vote for, and he'll do it even though it's against his best interests. This is the scenario everywhere, especially in the South. What Trump did was tip off the man that gets his hands dirty about what the Bush Bots were doing to him, and that is why the GOPe hate him so much.

Wow! This describes my experience in my county to a Tee. I live in KY, and all the GOP meeting people McConnellites. The only thing they care about is lining their own pockets and getting eachother richer.

Another example of a bad personnel decision by Trump.

This is the best Article to date IMO as to why the Swamp can’t have Donald back in the WH.
