My only problem with RDS is that he's a prototypical establishment politician. Cookie cutter like Bushes or many other RINOs. Ivy League for connects, army to boost credentials/vet card, then congress, then governor.
He had little to no recognition until he started to adopt Trump's antics. He barely beat a black far-left progressive tweeker in 2018 by the name of Andrew Gillum. Frankly people know little to nothing about his other world views. I know he's a "great ally to Israel".

People of Florida voted for a governor for 4 years, not 2 years. It's not as bad as that black Congressman who died of arse cancer couple weeks after the election, but if you're going to be looking for a new job, maybe let people know before running for a 4 year job.
More evidence RDS might be a typical DC stooge who adopted Trump's mannerisms. I genuinely hope to be wrong, but we can't afford an establishment Grand Ole' Party stooge.
