Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel took the media to task on ABC's This Week on Sunday for their non-reporting about Tara Reade's sexual assault allegation against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. When the media did finally get around to reporting the accusation against Biden, the coverage was a far cry from the "believe women" standard the media applied during Justice Brett Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearing.

"It has been appalling the hypocrisy as to how Brett Kavanaugh was treated versus Joe Biden," McDaniel told ABC's Martha Raddatz.

"Brett Kavanaugh," McDaniel recalled, "every accuser was put on TV. It was wall-to-wall coverage. They went into his high school yearbook. They said he needed an FBI investigation. Michael Avenatti was on TV accusing him of gang rape from an accuser who never even met Brett Kavanaugh."

Now that it's a Democrat in the hot seat, the media spent the first five weeks pretending Tara Reade didn't exist.

"And then you go to Joe Biden," McDaniel continued her comparison. "Five weeks of silence. 19 interviews without a single question. [Biden] won't let people go into his records at the University of Delaware. They're calling on the DNC to do the investigation. It went from 'metoo, metoo, metoo' to 'move on, move on, move on' in a nanosecond because he's a Democrat."

It's clear the media is going all-in for the Democrats this presidential election, based on their willingness to brush Tara Reade under the rug. Thinking ahead, the RNC chairwoman said the media networks who ignored Biden's sexual-assault allegation should not be allowed to moderate presidential debates later this year.

"I think any outlet that conducted those 19 interviews and didn't ask a single question should be disqualified from conducting any part of a presidential debate," the chairwoman said.

Fantastic idea. They clearly cannot be impartial.
