Miss ya el Rushbo. RIP my friend and mentor I never met. I would love to hear what you had to say right now.
You’ve changed that Pretenders song forever, and political thought and the country for the better.
Chicken, we still need a heart emoji so will have to suffice.

Two years already. Crazy.
Definitely miss El Rushbo.
He always kept an ultimately optimistic outlook for America even while tackling the daily issues and taking apart the fallacy of liberalism “with half his brain tied behind his back”.

Rush was the indispensable man.

Flawless execution....zero mistakes.
Never one like him again.

The first time I heard Rush was on 1150 WJBO in 1988. I was a student worker at the LSU Ag department and I was driving alone in an LSU pickup truck to pull some samples of a genetically engineered soybean plant from an experimental plot for the professor I was working for. I was stuck in traffic on Highland near the South Gates and I turned on the radio. All they had in this truck was AM radio. Rush was on, I listened and the rest is history.

It would have been 100% but Rush had a soft spot so he tied one hand behind his back just to make it fair.

I think it was actually 99.8% when he passed but in my book he gets an extra .1% for a lifetime achievement award bonus totaling 99.9%!

Yes very cringe and weird especially praising a guy who supported the neo-con way of endless wars

God bless you, Rush! You're playing golf in heaven with a buffet of cigars.

He's gone to a better place where there are unlimited underage Dominican prostitutes and opioid pills flow like water.

If you’re under the age of 35 and call yourself a conservative, Rush influenced you and you don’t even know it.
He was was remarkable in every way

quote:This. No one worked harder toward radio production perfection than Rush and crew did. Excellence was the only standard. Hearing him record station promos and commercials over the network feed was interesting as hell.
Flawless execution....zero mistakes.
I really miss running his show on a local affiliate. The network played Paul Shanklin comedy bits and fake "commercials" during the local breaks. Most never got to hear them, because the local spots were always 100% sold out. He saved a lot of AM stations.
On the political side... Rush was never afraid to take the arrows from the Left. Many on the right need to learn that lesson.

He was , like WFB Jr, The Indispensable Man.

Rush had a natural voice for radio. What I mean by that is his voice had the right frequency and tone for the human ear. You could literally hear his voice even through a lot of background noise. Not many people are born with that talent. Most peoples' voices are drowned out with a lot of background noise.

I know. I miss him too. Clay and Buck do a commendable job, but how can you replace perfection? Rush was one-of-a-kind. His perception, his ability to cut through the rhetoric and analyze events bordered on (dare I say it) supernatural.
Yep. Talent on loan from God.

Jesus. This is pretty cringe, even for the Poliboard.
The mentor I never met? Lol
Turn off the radio/TV and run a lap.
