I understand the point. But a “journalist” can still be a rioter, and at that point should still face rightful repercussions.

Also, as always...anyone can sue for any reason, but it still takes resources so one would hope one would have a legitimate gripe. I also understand that down is up for the last many years so what was once deemed predictable and reasonable results can be unpredictable at best these days.

But my point remains that if you’re part of a riot, without legitimate reason to claim an observer, or journalist, you’ll likely face the associated repercussions.
