Appears the leftist strategy of accusing the opponent of doing what you’re guilty of is alive and well.

This is why your side loses, you think you can tell people what is good for them.

Also, most middle class people I know did not report their life getting better under President Obama.

Nope. There were plenty of conservatives who didn't like Iraq war and plenty of us who think Bush was a globalist jackass.

I do find it bizarre that so many of you peace loving antiwar folks hail Obama as some great leader when he is the only president in American history to be at war for 8 straight years and he set record breaking drone strikes killing many civilians in the process.

He also separated families at the border,
literally put kids in cages,
told the Russians he would have more flexibility for them after his election,
made deals with terrorist countries,
attempted to use the federal government to help a political ally win an election by fraudulently violating the rights of a private citizen,
weaponized the IRS against political opponents,
Waged unreported wars in Libya
Forced citizens to buy a government funded product
Destroyed affordable health care
Etc...

None of you seem to give a shite about any of that. Care to weigh in?

I constantly read on this board all of the vitriol for social justice Warriors and I agree that they are annoying but the real virtue signalers are and have always been the right wing. Typically speaking, over the years, church-going and God-fearing folks tend to lean conservative. Many of them believing in an angry and vengeful God so they adhere to strict principles, knowing that it's a lot less fun. Many of them think of themselves as better and have used this ideology as motivation to do horrible and heinous things. Wanting the war in Iraq and backing everything George W bush did was an evengelical certainty. As religion has begun to fade in this country the replacement ideology, for right-wing virtue signaling, has become success monetarily and how it proves they've done a better job as a human. Oddly enough, many of them are either lower middle-class or impoverished. Nevertheless, their desire to be a Dick Cheney or Donald Trump has led them to backing Hardline stances even if it doesn't help them in any way in living vicariously through the supposed success of Donald J Trump. This blind-spot for conflict of interest and voting against their own welfare has created some harsh realities such as private prisons and deregulated industry. Supporting all of these things to live vicariously through whatever disingenuous snake oil salesman convinced them it was bad has bolstered the idea that it is okay to do whatever you want if you were Superior and it is okay to lock up as many people and point the finger at them. I guess my question is, does anybody here agree with any of this? Would you care to have a conversation about it? I didn't even mention the fact that I read on this message board that white people have much higher IQs than black or Latin American people. That would be too easy of a slam dunk way to prove the theory that they always want to be better than you

You’re talking about white people and some shite about IQ after typing that wall of BS? Find another hobby/pastime, you suck at trolling the PT baws.

I’ve been on this board for almost 15 years and I can say with complete confidence and no hyperbole that this drivel is the worst OP in the history of this board.

This talking point is repeated by the left ad nauseam with absolutely no evidence to back it up whatsoever. What specific economic policy instituted by either Trump or W. Bush was detrimental to middle or upper class?

And how are private prisons detrimental to the middle class or upper class?

The middle and upper classes are thriving under Trump’s economic policies.

I don’t know if you realize this or not but you’re exponentially stupid. Like if you killed yourself the average IQ of the country would increase dramatically propelling us into another era of rapid innovation and economic expansion.

I was tricked into believing in the Iraq war out of outrage from 9-11. Thinking back to September 2001, I had a completely different view and feel of this country. I was not “woke” in 2001. I actually believed in this country and trusted the Bush family back then. I loved this country with all my heart in 2001. Everything has changed since 9-11 Ebbandflow. And I’m a moderate that’s glad Hillary lost but I would have voted for Biden or Bernie. I hate both parties and both establishments for sure and both sides “virtue signal” but the left is way more uppity and snobbish about it that the right is and it’s not close.

Sorry I am a reasonable person that is center right on the political spectrum and is not afraid to vote on either side of the aisle usually and I just don't see your point.

I think you mischaracterize the right in virtue signaling and paint an inaccurate picture of evangelicals using the worst generalizations.

Virtue signaling these days is mostly on the left with people tweeting out nonsense to prove how woke they are and how much they care out some victim group.......

I’ve been a registered Independent since 1998 but until a few years ago I leaned left. I still do on some issues. But at this point, the Left is toxic to me. As a straight white male, I am not welcome. I don’t want to import mass poverty from the third world. I don’t think trannies are an important issue.
