That was so cringy. Total embarrassment. She should be fired imo. Getting multiple warnings to peacefully leave a situation, but just had to "teach" everyone why she was in the right. Then dropping her job title as if she is impressive and all knowing. There's no need for her in public service.

She implied that she was better than everyone else in Rhode Island by insisting that laws don't apply to her.
Not sure how she can serve in the role of prosecutor after that announcement.

You just described TD in a nutshell.

It's not really that. She implied that due to her being an AG, the cops should work with her and ignore the law for her. It's not that she's better, necessarily, but that her job (and its association with LEO) meant she should get special treatment, which is much worse, considering her role.

Entitled is what we call that where I'm from. It comes in several forms.

For starters, she tried to flex her position as an AG, about 50 times. And she was dead wrong about the body cam law, the prior trespass notification, needing probable cause to detain her, and suggesting that the officers did not, but should have, read her the Miranda rights. Her lack of even basic criminal law procedural knowledge should have gotten her fired if not her attempt to intimidate the officers with her AG position.

Not only that, she LIED about her title to a LEO. She claimed to be an Attorney General (an elected official) at least 10 times when she is in fact NOT the AG. She was never elected. She is an employee of the actual AG who handles appellate issues.
And let’s not forget that she was completely wrong in claiming that if a suspect requests that a LEO turn off their body cam that they must do so. How asinine.
Hint: in certain circumstances, witnesses can make a request and it be granted, but never a suspect. Little miss know it all was sorely mistaken.
Also, threatened LEOs using her inflated job title. She should not only lose her job, but be disbarred. She clearly cannot handle a position of power.

She will be back on staff with back pay as soon as the heat cools down.
Hell as a liberal white woman who thinks she is above the law she may be governor in a couple years

An entitled woman...
Who hasn't had to face normal consequences of her entitlement in a long time...
Who is with a feisty friend who is entitled for a different reason (smoke show)...
Who has had a few too many...
results in this.
The men they were with let them down HUGELY. Any real man would have prevented that shite from happening 10 minutes before the cops even got there. At some point, you pick your damn girl/wife up and carry her arse off if need be to prevent that.

I am confused about 1 thing. She was trespassed from the business/building. But once outside on public street or sidewalk, why didn't the contact w police stop?
What are the laws in that situation?
Yes, I know all the bad things she did after that, and she deserves it all.
BTW, if im the husband, I would have been dragging her arse down the street to get out of that situation.

Never was an AG actually. She’s an employee of the AG’s office.

I think it's as dumb as she didn't agree to just leave. If she had just agreed and walked away, it would have been over.
IIRC, in the video after she's initially belligerent, the cops ask the bar what they want to do now and he reluctantly says to prosecute her on trespassing.
The women's behavior in that video goes from dumb, to dumber, to retarded, to incomprehensible over the course of the video.
