Big surprise a retired ATF agent wants to says Ar15s should be regulated like machine guns.
AR15s regulates like Machine guns
Little gem here.
Looks like some agency wants a $200 check on 10+ million owners.

ATF swat doesn't have 3 round burst weapons?
Did they not learn anything from Waco?

I am unaware of which wars ATF Swat participated in

They are also issued side arms too.... Guess those are weapons of war too

It's a good thing his opinion is meaningless

What about the Ruger Mini-14 that shoots the same caliber, RoF, velocity, etc as an AR15? Oh wait...it doesn't look scary so no need for regulation.

This is the same organization that confiscated airsoft guns and said with a straight face, how some one could use them to cause trouble.

It's funny how federal law enforcement act like they're in a war and need everything under the sun. Funny thing is the same people cops have to deal with will be the same ones a citizen will face in a self defensive situation.

These people are idiots. It’s just another semi automatic rifle. It doesn’t have burst fire or automatic. It’s range isn’t anything special. It’s not a great weapon and there are much much better choices. Why do they insist on singling this one out? Because the military uses a version of it.

Say bye bye to your 1911s

Flintlock muskets are also weapons of war.

All I have to say is that I carried around a few weapons in my trunk that would make the AR-15 look impotent when I was with the Bureau. Tried the link but wouldn't work. Would love to know this honchos name. He may be one of the weinnies that I had to babysit.

The most powerful weapon of war is a functional brain. Unfortunately, too many people lack this weapon. Especially those that want to overregulate and restrict responsible firearm owners.

It took me 9 months to get my suppressor approved by the ATF. frick those people.

I tried it again and it didn't work. It was a article posted in The Hill. I'll try to fix it.

This is the slippery slope. My Glock is a weapon of war according to this retarded logic.
The line in the sand is the AR-15.

This ATF choad, and cops in general, don't like the idea a civilian might have just as good of weaponry as they do. They want an advantage.
Frankly, some of the rifles (with optics) my friends own would make them either drool or piss their pants.
