Grifter Tom Cotton is currently on Twitter pointing out all the horrible things Biden and the democrats are about to do, specifically in terms of immigration.

The same Tom Cotton who traveled to Sea Island with Mitch McConnell to discuss their options on how to remove Donald Trump and the threat he presented.

The same Tom Cotton who did nothing in his role as senator to fight for stronger immigration policies when the GOP had the majority. The GOP did NOTHING in Trump's first two years.

The same Tom Cotton who refused to speak up about voter fraud and did nothing to try and stop an incoming Biden administration.

So why should we vote for Republicans? It's the same song and dance with them every election cycle. They never fight, they are on the payrolls of special interests like the Chamber of Commerce or China and destroy this country with their uniparty friendly policies, and then when the democrats start making moves, THEN they then get on their soapboaxes about how horrible the democrats are, how they are going to ruin us and how we need to vote Republican at all costs because of how bad the democrats are but the Republicans give little detail about how exactly they are going to not just stop the democrats but reverse things, they just say trust us elect us and all will be well...

Every fricking cycle.

2008 - Democrats control all 3 branches! Elect us and we will put an end to this!

2010 - We just took the house, but we cant cut spending because we dont have the senate

2014 - We just took the senate, but we cant cut spending or do anything because we dont have the presidency

2016 - We have the presidency, but we cant do anything because of the midterms

2020 - Democrats control all 3 branches! Elect us and we will put an end to this!

Rinse and repeat.

Stop falling for this Lucy Football act and just realize the Republican Party does not give a frick about you.

Time for a 3rd party.

This is nothing new. The swamp is composed of both the left and the right.

Amen.

It’s time for a new party.

Populist Patriots.

The swamp can have what’s left of both the GOP and DNC.

True, but the unfortunate reality is that a third party will just get you fricked harder. Most of the lunacy can be stopped when congressional numbers are close. In fact, I don't believe they will accomplish much of anything that conservatives fear they will. When you split the republican party in two, then you get democrat supermajorities. Then all the really batshit crazy stuff becomes your reality.

Tom Cotton was a co-sponsor of the RAISE act along with Josh Hawley, one of the most hardline immigration bills to ever grace the halls of Congress in generations.

It would've been a godsend to the working poor and middle class who have their quality of life seriously harmed by unchecked and out of control immigration.

LINK

quote:

Washington, D.C. - Senators Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas), David Perdue (R-Georgia), and Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) re-introduced the Reforming American Immigration for a Strong Economy (RAISE) Act, a bill that would spur continued economic growth and raise working Americans' wages by giving priority to the best-skilled immigrants from around the world and reducing overall immigration levels. Representative Francis Rooney (R-Florida) will introduce companion legislation in the House of Representatives.

The RAISE Act is supported by President Trump and has been described by the White House as a bill that "will create a merit-based immigration system that protects our workers, our taxpayers, and our economy."

"I'm proud to reintroduce the RAISE Act supported by the White House. For decades, our immigration system has been completely divorced from the needs of our country and has harmed the livelihoods of working-class Americans. The RAISE Act would build an immigration system that increases working-class wages, creates jobs, and gives every citizen a fair shot at achieving the American Dream, no matter whether their family came over on the Mayflower or just took the Oath of Allegiance," said Cotton.

No politicians give a crap about anybody but themselves. We as voters need to learn to play dirty, and use them and play them however we want.

The Republican Party is a private club that will just rig things to prevent this from happening.

DEM and GOP are really just the same party. They report to the same overlords. They only pretend to be different. But, as you see...when the deep state is threatened, they band together..

This is exactly how the GOP continues to get away with their backstabbing antics.

"If you go 3rd party the democrats will win! So we must keep voting Republican!"

I call this Battered Conservative Syndrome. It's what gives the GOP full leverage over us. Them knowing we will still back them in the end is the leverage.

Right but we are pretty much screwed because the Dems aren't the alternative. That's like saying the mechanics over here do a shitty job most the time when I need my car fixed. I'm going to go take it to the demolition yard next time, that'll show them!

That meeting was in the 2016 primaries while it was still being contested and amounted to nothing more a wish casting session and Cotton still endorsed Trump and voted for him when Trump won the nomination fair and square.

When it came to immigration, Tom Cotton was a very reliable partner for Trump to work with on.

He did nothing to stop the steal. He is currently sounding the alarm on Twitter right now but rubber stamped the election theft and didnt contest a thing.
