This guy is going to try to swing the presidency to the dems..

Please don't tell me he is a good guy. He knows FULL well what will happen with them in control.

quote:

‘The tea party is largely gone. It was replaced with ... the general philosophy of the party now under Trump’

Any man that says that he will run to displace Trump over the current Dem party while invoking the Tea Party is a fraud.

quote:

When asked about the possibility of a presidential run over the last several weeks, Amash has repeated his desire to see a candidate challenge the dominance of Democrats and Republicans in politics, which he has described as a “two-party duopoly.” And when asked in January at a Libertarian convention to describe the ideal third-party presidential candidate, Amash referred to himself. “It’s more on my radar now because everybody keeps asking about it,” Amash said in an interview with the Lions of Liberty podcast earlier this month. “I just think it's important that we offer some alternative.”

That's why he came out against Trump. The truth is HE KNOWS he can't win. He is not dumb.

LINK

quote:

“[I]t has to be a person who is persuasive to other people, can bring Republicans and Democrats on board, or bring a large part of the electorate on board, because you can't just appeal to diehard libertarians and win the election,” he said.

He's a politician. He can claim he's a principled man, but in the end he is not.

Like I stated... He knows he CAN NOT win. He is pulling a Romney.

IT appears he and a few other Never Trumpers will try to do to Trump what they did in 2016 with Mullen.

It's sickening that these people need there ill gains at the cost of the nation.

Libertarians are closer in their views to Liberals than they are to Conservative views.

I am not surprised at all.

You did good, it needs mentioning, but in the end it won't matter.

Trump will steamroll anyone put in front of him in this election.

You think Trump was on a roll in the last election? HA!! Just wait and see how 'on fire' Trump is this election with even greater stakes on the line and the GEOTUS having experience and better people around him now.

Election 2020 will be an absolute massacre, in Trump's favor.

Everyone who voted for Trump in 2016 will do so again.

Trump has obviously won over some folks who voted against him.

Anyone intetested in an indie candidate at this point isn’t going to vote for Trump anyway.

Any indie candidate is only going to pull potential votes from Trump’s dem challenger.

Real time documenting and stopping voter fraud will be the challenge.
No one seems to be acting on that.

You don't even know what a conservative is.

You have said you are a fiscal conservative and you don't worry about social issues.

You should , our beloved government hands out our tax money for foreign aid , illegals , funding Planned Parenthood , they are inadequate in securing the borders .. etc.

Those are SOCIAL issues that eat at us fiscally.

Speaking of fiscal issues, do I have to start paying rent for living in your head?

What specific bills has he drawn up in Congress?

What makes him conservative? He’s for open borders.

Well, well. well. Didn't take long for the other shoe to drop. I always knew that some Establishment hack would be appointed by the Deep State to run in the general election to take votes away from President Trump. I just never dreamed it would be Justin Amash.

I just have 2 questions:

1) What have they promised this backstabbing bitch?

2) How much has he already been paid?

EDIT - SPOILER ALERT: He will fail.

Amash realizes Trump is dangerous to the conservative brand. Trump has done close to nothing to shrink the size of gov't.

Libertarians are Liberals. Democrats are progressives.
