Reminder: Shutdown Ends when McConnell Wants

Mitch McConnell could end the shut down at any moment, if he wanted. The only reason the government is shut down is because Mitch McConnell wants it to be - either under Trump's orders, or by his own volition.

Pelosi has already passed resolutions to open the government through the House. McConnell has passed nothing that would open the government through the Senate - because a majority of Senators would not vote for the wall.
