Remember the pollsters have nothing to lose by being wildly wrong this year

They will simply blame the wild inaccuracies of their polling on Covid.
They are in a no lose situation and can put as many fake and intentionally dishonest polls out as they like.
These push polls are being done to kill turn out and they have zero skin in the game by doing so

Again, this makes absolutely no sense.
If you thought your candidate was trailing in the polls, you'd be eager to vote on election day. One, to prove those wicked pollsters wrong, and two, because on the off chance they're correct and your candidate is trailing, your vote is now needed more than ever.

Rush said today that later this week the polls will start to shift towards Trump, so they can save face and claim their polls were right.

The guy who does the Trafalgar poll said it does make sense in an interview the other day. He said that there are no consequences for the network polls and the like to be wrong, so they are fine with conducting their surveys in a manner that skews the results towards the democrats. He said that one of the issues is that they continue to base things off of exit polling even though everyone knows the exit polls were way off in 2016. People are lying during the phone surveys and are even more likely to lie face to face to a pollster with an iPad. It's hilarious that they are wasting so much time and money and will still get 4 more years of Trump and probably some gains in congress due to a red wave.

Eta: you think organizations like CNN, NBC, WaPo, and the nyt are going to stop commissioning polls that tell them exactly what they want to hear? Do you think pollsters are going to blow up their gravy train by giving the networks polling that doesn't support their bias?

Casinos aren't offering odds on the election. Offshore sites and other online services are the only ones offering. Plus, you're bet is limited.

Who here would be surprised if blacks who vote for Trump lie to an exit pollster? I'd say that you can add at least 5% to whatever the exit polls say the black vote for trump ends up being.

first of all, we're talking about a shitload of people that would have to be in on the collusion here, and for what? To look stupid on election night?
Secondly, nobody on this board is reading the polls (which favor Biden in a damn near historic way) and deciding to stay home. Not one person.
I just don't know anybody who would react to trailing in a poll by taking their ball and staying home on election day.

It's not really about suppression. It's research bias. These pollsters have benefactors to answer to.
