The uprising in 2012 nearly did. Obama did nothing except send pallets of cash.

I thought we hated CIA coups?
You know like the one in Ukraine.

Honestly I consider myself divorced from this government. I don’t really care what they do because I have no say but I hope none of our innocent people die and I hope our masters that clearly want this thing do and they fall on their own sword. I want nothing to do with it

It’s highly unlikely that meaningful political change could happen in Iran under the current conditions. The leadership, particularly the Supreme Leader and the clerical establishment, maintains an iron grip on the country. The military—especially the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)—is deeply loyal to the regime and acts as both an enforcer and a power base. Meanwhile, the media is tightly controlled, and online discourse is heavily monitored, with dissent quickly suppressed.
Over the past decade, the government has systematically dismantled or absorbed any oppositional political movements, civil society groups, or reformist factions that could pose a challenge. Any attempts at organizing dissent—whether through protests, political activism, or online campaigns—have been met with arrests, censorship, or worse.
If the Ayatollah were to die or step down, power wouldn’t automatically shift to the people. More likely, the IRGC and hardline clerics would consolidate control, potentially ushering in a military-theocratic regime that’s even less tolerant of dissent. In short, the current structure is designed to ensure continuity of control, not democratic transition.

1) Ayatollah Khamenei is 86yo.
2) Israel has assassinated a fair deal of the power brokers who would be involved in solidifying the next Ayatollah.
3) The assassinations are likely to continue
4) Consolidation of power is going to be murky when Khamenei dies and he will likely die sooner or later by force or natural causes.
That’s why it is possible without boots on the ground. How it gets steered is the clandestine ops uncertainty.

Did you want Obama to send troops in 2012?

The CIA doesn’t need to do anything.

Then let Israel execute a regime change with THEIR boots on the ground.

Of course not, but we should have given material aid and support. Of course, Obama was closer to the Mullahs ideologically than to Israel and the United States.

I think both sides of the aisle would agree with this.

We love CIA coups when the right people tell us to

The Iranian people want a regime change. That’s how. The regime crushed the last uprising because Biden refused to do anything at all to assist. A few more targeted air raids and the people will change the regime.
Or unify with the current regime. We don't know how this plays out. But a common enemy is a unifying force even with unpopular regimes. There are countless recent examples including here in the United States and in Israel to point to.

Obama also did as his Jew masters demanded prerequisite for sitting there so it’s a moot point

Or are you trying to point out that yet another government official has abused the use of the word "emergency" to bypass the US Constitution since only congress can declare war?
When did we declare war?

Given how well Mossad has infiltrated Iran, I would assume they’re the lead on that operation with CIA just providing intel.

So you’re admitting you know this is a false flag? For what purpose
Posted on 6/22/25 at 5:48 pm to Riverside
Like what kind of “aid and support” that wouldn’t involve the military?

Well you’re saying we haven’t gone to war so is the news just lying we didn’t really bomb anything over there? I mean it could be it’s not like the news doesn’t lie for a living
Unless we were over there we’d have no idea what was happening that’s how dishonest the media is at least all of television news
