The new policy reddit is rolling out, which basically translates to "think the way we want you to think or you'll be subjected to a social conditioning experiment where we warn you everytime you upvote something we don't want you to" -

The warning message reddit users on /r/the_donald are now getting for merely liking/upvoting a Trump thread -

I would like to see what was actually upvoted...

That said I’d be delighted for a reason to be pissed

Gnomes like DavidTheTroll will suck up and abide by their pithy rules. I’m not sure why people put up with Reddit’s shite.

I seriously hope r/the_donald deplorables get together and file a First Amendment lawsuit against reddit.

For someone who doesn’t read reddit very much, can you explain what are the consequences of the warnings? Get enough and you get banned or something?

They should find a social media platform that isn’t gay.

It's outlined in the admin post listed in the OP. First, you'll receive automated warnings that you upvoted the "wrong" content. If you continue to do so, your account will incur either a temporary or permanent ban.

This is a website that has communities dedicated to sharpies in buttholes.

Upvote a Trump post = Bad

Post a picture of a sharpie in your arse = totally fine

Why would anyone willingly patronize Reddit considering their rampant censorship and suppression of free speech?

They already decamped to another platform IIRC.

TD may still exist but it is a hollow shell of what was there 3-4 years ago as Reddit continually fricks with them.

Abusive content is not acceptable on Reddit, nor is engaging with it.

“Abusive content” is apparently “anything we don’t like.”

Especially considering some of the subs that exist, as mentioned upthread. I guess the bigwigs are all in on Sharpes up people’s asses. I’d think it would give them size envy.

Me thinks you need to retake 7th grade civics, and so do your anonymous upvoters.
Maybe the admin can inbox y’all how the 1st amendment works.

Get warned about upvotes. The whole sub proceeds to upvote every damn post they have.

I love that sub
