3 of my last 4 books came from your suggestions. I'll make a choice tomorrow afternoon and order if it's available on Kindle.
Doesn't have to be politics, but only non-fiction.
TIA!

Hero of Two Worlds: The Marquis de Lafayette in the Age of Revolution

quote:

As a teenager, Lafayette ran away from France to join the American Revolution. Returning home a national hero, he helped launch the French Revolution, eventually spending five years locked in dungeon prisons. After his release, Lafayette sparred with Napoleon, joined an underground conspiracy to overthrow King Louis XVIII, and became an international symbol of liberty. Finally, as a revered elder statesman, he was instrumental in the overthrow of the Bourbon Dynasty in the Revolution of 1830.

They were among these:

The professors... Horowitz
The Strange Death of Europe ... Murray
Surviving 4th Wave Feminism .. Dr. B Real
Please Stop Helping Us... Jason Riley
The Boy Crisis .. Farrell
When the Crocodile Eats the Sun .. Godson

I wanted to buy Losing the Race by McWhorter but they only sell his other books. This one is critical of black culture and he's a black guy who I have read on history from language.

This is a fictional series, but damned if the current administration isn't trying their best to turn it into reality.

Kelly Turnbull series from Col. Kurt Schlichter. Imagines a time after the 2020 election where the US splits into 2 countries based on political ideology.

The Patriot Chiefs by Alvin M. Josephy, Jr.

A great historical account of the men who first resisted federal tyranny.

I will read. I have recommended "Liberty's Last Stand" by Stephen Coonts on a number occasions. It is fiction, but it depicts what would happen if a President decided that he needed to save the country from demons mostly of his own making, and declares martial law and has his political opponents put in jail for a phony plot to overthrow his ow°n government.

I really enjoy Brian Kilmead. The Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson books were my favorite out of his so far.
