Biden proposing $15 an hour vs. $7.25 now is likely to get zero Senate Rs.

It also isn't eligible for reconciliation.

It would almost certainly require nixing the filibuster.

A national minimum wage makes no sense. If we are going to have one at all, it needs to be at the state level. There's a big difference in $15/hr in Picayune, MS vs Seattle.
