Reasons you support the President
Posted by GAAtty70 on 11/4/19 at 9:01 am00
Our President obviously causes a lot of strong reactions both from the right and the left. A good bit of that seems to be linked to his personal take no prisoners style.
How much does his style cement or increase your support of him?
How much is simply on his policies?
Would you admire a liberal politician with the same style or would that style irritate you coming from someone you disagreed with strongly?

I have more money every month than I had before he was president. He cut regulations on Obamacare which has allowed my wife's company to grow and pay her more money as a result.
THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT.
THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT.
1. He can't be bought...even though he could be swayed with threats to his kids.
2. He detests war.
3. He doesn't give shite what idiot's think, even though he can be moved by a compelling argument.
4. His policy are more likely to stem federal power, versus the previous 13 administrations. (Reagan being the exception)

Like most of the policies, hate the style honestly. I'm old school and would prefer the president actually act presidential and let the policies do the talking but thats just me. I feel like he would have more support if he would just be quiet.
For me the most important point is economics. You can't fight wars, fix bridges or even buy toilet paper to wipe your arse if you don't have a strong economy. Trump has shown that he understands the living frick out of economics, the proof is in the historic sustained low unemployment and rising wages.
Imagine how much better it would be if we had a House that would pass the fricking USMCA and cheer on his attempts to renegotiate with China instead of ignoring those things to do everything they can in an insane attempt to derail his Presidency and his re-election.

Depends on if his words were hollow or not. If you're going to have a dog guarding your property, i.e., the U.S., I'd rather he bite than bark if I have to choose one or the other.
Dude has kept more campaign promises than any other president in my lifetime. I would prefer he kick it up a notch with immigration reform and not sign any more Omnibus budgets - outside of that he has been a literal blessing to this country.
No one in recent memory has ever dealt with so much BS and accomplished more than he has.

He is doing exactly what I voted for him to do.
I personally don't care about tact, we've had to much of that in Washington before.
I don't care about he did before he was president in his personal life. That's between him and his wife.
I'm all for his policies.
If the liberal politician acted the same I would feel the same.
