Reading the HR-1 bill

I think it would do many people well to understand our Republic as we know it has been long gone for a while. There is nothing in this bill that is even close to Constitutional, yet all the law makers responsible for this swore an oath to defend the Constitution.
What has happened over the years, is Washington and the courts has figured out a way to completely ammend and destroy the original intent of the Constitution to the point it is now just a nice relic sitting in the Smithsonian.
They were able to do all of this without having to go through the rigorous ammendment process they are supposed to. And distracting all of us, by not going directly at the Constitution itself.
It has been a very clever trick played on everyone. Once they pass this bill, and then go after the 2nd, it is all over. Checkmate!

They KNOW that which is why they realize they need to pack the Supreme Court with a bunch of politicized FILTH who will rubber stamp every unconstitutional piece of garbage they produce.

quote:Maybe so but they really didn't have to. There's no one who will actually enforce the constitution. Its content is simply irrelevant.

Wasn't it renamed the For the People Act? How nice sounding. Kind of like that wonderful Patriot Act that kicked off the fall of freedom

I really hate the dystopian names they give legislation. It's clearly a trick to make it harder to argue against it.

All of this voting stuff is basically irrelevant until culturally conservative people are able to take back influence of the country. Regardless of the voting rules, the country is gone until enough people decide that progressivism is leading us somewhere we don't really want to go. Democrats have won the culture war to this point. They've convinced average people that they are compassionate and forward-thinking despite the absurdities they push.
