Reading Jordan Peterson's new book: Beyond Order

He tells a story of a young man who was having severe mental issues because he experienced his boyfriend getting angry at him and hitting him.
He had built his worldview that people were good and could not understand this. The thing that struck me most about this story was that the young man was a History major in college, and could not understand that people could be evil.
Peterson had the young man read Ordinary Men, a book about regular policemen who committed terrible acts for Germany during WW2.
But as a society, we have sugarcoated the world for these kids for a generation and now that they are adults and realize that evil exists, that life isn't fair, they don't always get what they want, etc. They are lashing out. Some in the streets of our cities, many on social media.
This back to work deal has shaken me and my beliefs that America can come out of this better. Too many people sucking at the tit of the government over the past year and they don't want to give it up. They have no idea of where this leads.

The important thing is that you recognize it to act on it by insulating yourself, changing it or profiting.

Just think of the influence the “great society’ has had on blacks for the past two generations.

This land that we call America will always be here. However, this nation-state called USA is dying before our very eyes.

In an honest and responsible academic environment, Books like "The Fourth Turning" should be required intellectual fare. Of course, ALL belief and action springs from Thomas Sowell's "First Principle" premise; and when said first principle is Egalitarian...well, even Mother Nature's 'survival of the fit(est)' principle goes on the Egalitarian sacrificial altar.
All things are of God...but all things - in and of their self - are not equal. Nor should they be; coerced 'justice' otherwise, becomes injustice. Even though such is in the eye of the Egalitarian or Not Believer.
To each their own. Parallel Universes aplenty, for each individual to 'reap what they sew'. That is just, and inevitable.
Good luck, or God speed.
