Sad to say but The only way Walker is going to win is if Gov. Kemp drags him over the finish line!!!

I am Republican all the way but afraid Walker will get beat!

Also sounding Like Dr Oz going to get beat too!

If both lose How can you keep Mitch McConnell leader of the party

Mitch McConnel supported other people in the GOP primaries.

Donald Trump supported these two because he thinks all that matters is being on tv and being a celebrity and people will swarm to you and vote for you.

I had high hopes for Walker when it was announced he was running. Seems like there are a lot of Liberal Georgia fans here though especially in the suburbs.

Georgia has shifted to the Blue. Demographic changes have permanently screwed the GOP. They may not lose the legislature yet, but Governor and Senator will be hard to win. The only way Walker and Kemp can win is if the Black vote doesn’t turn out.

Atlanta will show up for Warnock.

Will everyone else show up for Walker?

Raphael Warnock, I had never heard of before they ran him. I have lived in Georgia for since 2007. Geaux Herschel.

Before moving here I was living in NY. They installed Hillary and continually belittled Trump. Sometimes politics shows it is merely a contest for some. Hillary had no business as a NY Senator.

HW is not qualified to be a REPUBLICAN Senator. I know the left has plenty of folks that are not qualified - but we should hold ourselves to a higher standard.

And not one Democrat is qualified to be in office, unless it's a "jackass Dem" government.

Do you think Warnockdick is qualified? And when does the city of Atlanta plan to get rid of all of the jackass Dems living there?

Neither is Tommy Tuberville. Look, I live here and have personally watched the shift of Atlanta/Suburbs. I would vote for Saddam Hussein himself before I would ever vote for Warnock or Abrams. I thought (like Tuberville) that Herschel's name recognition alone would be able to push him over the line but I am realizing that isn't likely to be the case. If Herschel Walker can't win in Georgia can anyone going forward? Think about it.

Walker has an uphill battle to oust Warnock. He doesn't sound particularly intelligent when he speaks either. That's not to say that he's stupid, it's just that he is far from polished. Unfortunately, voters can be turned off by a regional accent, grammar, syntax, or any number of things that are used to stereotype an individual. I'll be voting for Walker, but I fear that it's going to be a lot tougher than folks first thought to bring Warnock back home from DC.

As for Kemp, he's currently leading Abrams by about five points in polls. This time of year the Democrats usually enjoy a lead in the polls as Republicans are off doing things with family while school is out and generally aren't to be bothered with polls and surveys. Polls generally shift more toward Republican candidates in Georgia and other southern states once school is back in session and families are home. With Kemp leading Abrams right now, I can only foresee a greater increase in his lead over her in the polls as November approaches.

Also, this being a mid-term year with no presidential election, I don't expect a huge turnout among Democrat voters here who are somewhat disillusioned regarding Biden and the Democrat message. There are always those stalwarts who will show up to vote blue at every election, but they are far from a significant enough portion of the Democrat party in Georgia to tip the scale in her favor.

Your TDS is off the charts. 90 percent of your posts on the Poli board have “Trump” somewhere in them. He is living rent free in your head six years later. Maybe go talk to a professional?

Yes. Hershel Walker is (no hyperbole) possibly the worst candidate I have ever seen (at least on the right).

He lies to his own campaign staff TWICE about his illegitimate kids. He’s not smart and it’s obvious. If I lived in GA I would vote for him, but I would hold my nose.

Run a candidate that actually speaks to peoples needs and not just an ex-football player.

Herschel is speaking to those who matter. Atlanta is the pits of hell.
