The nuts on this curly headed ginger
Also, if Rand was the only Senator opposed to passing it today, you've got time to flood your senators office and let them know what you think of this giveaway.

Schumer says he's offering a unanimous consent request with McConnell on Ukraine
Schumer says Rand Paul is the lone senator opposed to passing Ukraine aid today
He says Paul's demands to change the bill entirely, which would require kicking it back to the House, are unreasonable
Rare to see both Schumer and McConnell united in asking for unanimous consent for something -- and on the floor together to do so
McConnell urges Paul to accept a vote on an amendment to the Ukraine package
quick vote on Ukraine aid.
"My oath of office is to the US constitution...no matter how sympathetic the cause"
Paul objects to a vote on Ukraine aid today. Senate will now have to pass it next week.
McConnell thanked Schumer afterward, and they both gave each other a head nod.
McConnell walked out of the chamber without a glance at Paul

All the anti-war Dems and probably 20 Republicans will vote for it and it will pass.

Rand is the only Senator I agree with 9/10.
The only disagreement I remember having with him was using Pentagon funds for the wall. And even then his take was that the President shouldn’t be able to executive order money around like that even though he agreed with the use of the funds. One of the rare times he and Cruz voted differently but I understood both of their takes.
This is the type of bill that’s going to pass 80-20.
The 20 will be your Paul, Cruz, Hawley, Blackburn, Cotton, Scott types. The 30 republicans will be your Kennedy, Romney, Murkowski, and Graham types.

You don't have to be afraid to defend your points if they're principled. You always have an honest answer, even if people like it or not.

Most likely, the whole damn bill is unreasonable.
Rand the man.

I think Ron Johnson might have to vote "yes" as there's a huge Eastern European population in Milwaukee and he's the most 50/50 Senate race this November.
I'm okay with pols doing things like this in election season especially if they aren't the deciding vote.

frick all you Republicans that didn't vote for him in the primaries. The only one of the candidates I would have even considered voting for.

Two days of procedural maneuvering and it will goo to the floor for a vote. Probably Tuesday.
