The Taliban needs the cash and Putin can use the stash. You cant make this up, if Putin pulls this off, Ukraine and Russia will be fighting each other with American weapons. At bargain basement prices, I'm sure.

The Russian tyrant is reportedly in the midst of negotiations with the terror group to recognise the Taliban government.

In return, Putin wants US equipment snatched from Afghanistan by the Taliban to be handed over, according to Telegram channel General SVR, which claims to be fed information by a Kremlin insider.
US troops scrambled to withdraw from Afghanistan in August 2021 as the Taliban surged across the war-torn nation in a matter of weeks.
At the same time as seizing regions, militants plundered stocks of Western artillery.
It is thought Taliban fighters may have stolen as many as half a million US weapons and up to 50,000 vehicles.

The Biden administration is a catastrophe, and that's probably and understatement.

Wow, this just keeps getting better.

Imagine drone footage of a US drone destroying our own Humvees and Bradleys. What a fricking disaster.

What's the likelihood that if Putin could get everything FJB left behind in Afghanistan and used it Ukraine, Putin would have more American military weaponry than the Ukraine military since they only receive ~30% of what's sent there.

When people start to understand that all the world leaders (including our own) are conspiring to bring the US to its knees, then this makes complete sense.

Biden intentionally vacated that land, and Billions of US arms/technology in an unreasonably hurried plan, that could not be comprehended at that time.

Biden, and his predecessor, were in bed with the Taliban. The Taliban "inherits" $85 Billion of US weaponry, and now Putin wants to buy it from them.

10% goes to the Big Guy. Old Joe is playing a multi-faceted game, at our expense.

Shows how poorly handled the Afghanistan withdrawal was by Biden.

On the flip side though, Putin now realizes his equipment can’t match up to the West’s equipment, so he has to go and buy some from a terrorist group.

Incompetence by the US and desperation by Russia.

Which in turn makes him more likely to resort to Nukes in any engagement involving the USA.

Nice!

I wonder if any Taliban military personnel might volunteer to fight against Ukraine?
