there are less people dying in total compared to the same week of 2017-2019.

And yet we have hourly COVID-19 updates on our local news, and the national Fake News is running to beat the band to tell us we're all going to die.

Even with those May 1 numbers, we're still looking at having hamstrung our economy for less than 40k deaths.

Not to minimize anyone's loss, but that's on track with annual automobile fatalities, and we all drive on our roads every day.

It really is this simple if you know the human condition.

You make free money if a patient has X. X will be inflated to some degree.

Motor vehicle deaths are up slightly in Missouri. The open roads have encouraged some really high speed drivers.

This is FRAUD against a nation. Government officials who had a hand in sending the US economy into a death spiral need to do HARD time.

Or it will happen over and over again.

Why is Trump claiming to have saved a million people?

I think we've been hoaxed, in that the media and epidemiologists have made a mountain out of a decent-sized molehill.
But i don't know what Trump is thinking when he says that.

Can you explain how deaths have been "falsely amplified"?

The people sharing this information neglect to point out that the data for the most recent 4-8 weeks is never anywhere near the actual final result. This has been true for as many years as you care to look back.

Beat them at their own game. If people are going to be emotional and irrational in their thinking then just say “you’re right and I saved millions”. That will get you farther than telling the truth and calling it a hoax.

wait wait wait wait....so the media, the president, fricki, and 49 governors (excl SD) lied to the people to scare the ever living shite out of us to steal their rights and destroy the US economy to satisfy the globalist and environmental wackos ....and it was just a HOAX.

Good thing I called that mid MARCH!!

Honestly anybody by now that doesn't know that is a brain dead retard. Hell even Biden might know it.

I'm not sure what you think that data says.

The first image is missing a column - deaths due to COVID and Pneumonia.

The second image is from 4/26 and had a total of 49,822 COVID deaths from column one and column five.

The media reported COVID deaths on 4/26 was 55,412.

But the CDC readily admits that its numbers lag behind because it is verifying state death reports before posting whereas the media is taking the data from State Departments of Health.

According to those numbers:

~2.9 million die per year
~55,800 die per week

Largest weekly total was 66,577 deaths

So all of this for only ~11,000 more deaths a week or ~1,500 more per day than normal for a very short period of time.

11,000 out of 320,000,000 or 0.0034%
