Not a pro vaxxer. I took it but don't suggest it to anyone. Take if you want. Refuse if you want. Not my call. But, the article didn't clearly state that the high infection rate was among those already vaccinated or in the unvaccinated population. I think breakthrough is being under reported but unless I missed it, they weren't clear on who was getting the new cases. 3,2,1 with GeauxTiger asking about "but what natural immunity and those who have recovered from the infection prior......

Vaxxed people are tested with CT of 28. Unvaxxed 40, which will produce 97% false positives.

The numbers are WAY off.

This Delta Variant is one mean motor-scooter, and is on a serious winning streak. It's truly threatening to bring America to its knees.

First off I'm not a "Pro-Vaxxer" in the sense that everyone should take it, I have taken the vaccine and I feel it's a personal decision every should be allowed to make on their own or for their children without government pressure.

Now to your question.

I don't explain it.

1) Because their is no evidence that this story is accurate and true.

2) Because no one I know, including myself that has taken the vaccine has gotten sick since taking it. If they have it's been so mild that they felt no need to talk about it or see a dr. So if they actually caught covid or the delta variant it was a nothing burger. Which reinforces my theory that this "Delta Variant" is political bullshite just like all the new variants there will be leading up to the 2024 election.

ETA: and by "Nothing Burger" I am not inferring that there is no Delta Variant or that it is not negatively effecting some people. I just believe that "Who" it's effecting and "to what extent" it is effecting them is being greatly overblown and the information about it is being manipulated to exact a certain response.

As is typical in the U.S. these days due to political posturing.

Delta Variant

Sure the Delta Variant is out there, and it's serious, but it's truly being hyped out of proportion to change the focus off other national problems, not the least being the as of now insoluble border crisis.

Considering where you are on the political spectrum, if you saying this doesn't scare the powers that be, they're not "scareable".

The fact that this has been truly "hyped out of proportion" since the very beginning and appears to only now be dawning on some of you folks is disappointing, but better late than never.

Same in the UK, but it was closer to 60% vaxed in hospitals with covid. As of May, both Israel and the UK were outperforming the US in vaccination rates. The US seems to be the only place that miraculously has 99.99999% of all hospitalizations unvaxed while simultaneously having a top 10 global vaccine rate.

This is shedding.

Regardless, it's all blown out of proportion.

We have HCQ and should able to treat it. Covid have been a non-starter.

Great question and one you will NEVER get a straight answer to from the government.

Several doctors are saying that anti-bodies are significantly more robust against variants than the vaccines. But the administration continues to lump convalescents in with those icky white Christians who refuse #science.

Low. They appear to me to be virtually identical to vaccinated groups.

E.g., A study of Lombardy Italy infections and reinfections indicated a 15-fold greater vulnerability in covid naive patients than recovered patients. Of those infected, hospitalization rates were similar. But the reinfection cohort was a small sample and was generally higher risk than the CV19 naive group.

Sounds like the vaccinated can catch and spread COVID to other vaccinated people.

Not sure how this all ties in together but I have heard folks speak of “shedding” the spike proteins from the vaccine for up to four weeks, so I wonder what some of the ramifications could potentially be with this aspect?

Norris notes that as case rates increase with the Delta variant, more vaccinated and unvaccinated people will get COVID, though data indicates that the rates will likely remain much higher among the unvaccinated.

And not a mention of reinfection rates to be found.

The CDC said today this is no longer the case.

The viral load is now the same with anyone who gets Delta, vaxxed or not.

Also, Singapore has announced that 75% of their new cases are fully vaxxed. Whatever immunity these mRNA vaccines provide, wears off within 3 months it now appears.

The problem with all this "Data" is everyone is rushing to be first instead of being accurate.

Louisiana Dept of Health is tracking vaccinated/hospitalized and vaccinated/deaths. Why won’t they release those numbers?

Because a 20% vaccinated death rate would look bad.

Yea it would be a much better optic to continually encourage people to get a vaccine where 20% of the people die.

Don't get me wrong I think they're stupid, just not that stupid.
