pro-abort threats against SCOTUS don’t necessarily constitute domestic violent extremism

@axios
SCOOP: The U.S. government is bracing for a potential surge in political violence once the Supreme Court hands down the ruling that's expected to overturn Roe v. Wade, according to a Department of Homeland Security memo obtained by Axios.
.@DHSgov: Pro-abortion extremists are threatening to burn down or storm the Supreme Court and murder justices and their clerks. But this "generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics does not constitute domestic violent extremism or illegal activity."
@LegallyAutumn
As long as they’re not angry parents at a school board meeting

But walking into the capitol building where the guards opened the doors and let you in is considered insurrection and gets you solitary confinement indefinitely in violation of the US constitution.

Are we to conclude that threats of violence over ideological disagreement are only a bad thing when those threats are leveled against the ideological opponents of those in power?

Repressive tolerance yet again.
If left wingers engage in violent extremism, it is speech/protest.
If a right winger so much as lights a fart while uttering a complaint about a government policy, they must stand before a tribunal.

Wasn't Biden talking about how bad it was to post violent rhetoric on social media. Or is it only bad when a deranged mentally ill racist does it?

I've philosophized about violent tactics on here in the past and received bans for it. Chicken is stricter than DHS it appears.

Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan and our own John Kennedy will have field days when these people have to sit through Congressional judicial hearings before a Republican led Congress.

I hate my government with a passion, and they've earned every single bit of my ire.

Mostly peaceful planning.
“Some of these threats discussed burning down or storming the US Supreme Court and murdering Justices and their clerks, members of Congress, and lawful demonstrators,” DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis wrote in the memo.
Intelligence officials in the Capitol region have since flagged 25 threats on social media to partner agencies. That included posts encouraging violence at a Tuesday protest “by sharing images and comments related to terrorist vehicle rammings of lawful demonstrators.” LINK
