All I know is that the next election is going to have me on a knife's edge moving forward.
So many things can go wrong.

No, you do not want the Democrats to win the popular vote and lose the electoral college vote. That will just encourage them to try to pass more of these stupid "our state's electoral college votes go to the national popular vote winner" pieces of legislation. Granted it is somewhere between possible and likely that the Supreme Court would rule these to be unconstitutional but do you really want to have to rely on this as the only way to keep these pieces of legislation from happening?

Also note CNN keeps the general vote totals and percentagesfor Trump and Hillary up on the screen while John King discusses other factors. That is on purpose trying to infer Hilalry should be declared the winner and the electoral college be discarded.
