Yep, and I’ll copy-paste what I said in the last one-
quote:

All you idiots melting do realize that he was just using strong language - “ordered” - for effect right?

It’s not like he’s going to nationalize Walmart if they continue to buy stuff from China. He’s not going to send the National Guard after some business who doesn’t immediately move manufacturing from China. So breathe easy IB .

Y’all need to get a grip. He’s just adding extra emphasis on his warnings to both China that the hornets nest has been stirred and to American businesses that likely more tariffs are coming in the war against China and they should prepare for that.

Here’s a thought - if our environmental, labor, and wage laws along with our pro-union political kowtowing are making it too expensive to manufacture here, then maybe we should reconsider some of those laws?

What's been lost in the conversation over the ridiculous "ordering" is the other "order" to FedEx and UPS.

There is no one counseling him. All the smart people have left the room/WH.

If the so-called "smart people" are responsible for the state of the nation in 2016 before Trump was elected and drove them off..

...GOOD!

Looks like those who put China's interests above America's interests are out in full force in this thread.

My main policy objection with Trump has been trade. I liked the tax cuts, the SCOTUS appointments (Kavanaugh was a little iffy for me), the regulation cuts and some appointments.

I absolutely loath him for this comment. Where does he come up with that BS? Screw him. If he tries to make US companies leave China through intimidation or government intervention by the IRS or the FDA or EPA or any of the big bureaucracies or through tax policy he should be impeached.

Most idiotic statement of the day.

Why are you against US companies doing business in and with Chinese people? There are a billion of them.

How is that dumb? So you think FedEx and UPS are going to say no, we will accept all Fentanyl and won’t even look for it. It was just a dig at a China anyway.

Yes, I do... India would be more than happy to take that industry and they have a more democratic society... silly liberals, always running scared when big boys start talking.

Ironic that a lefty is supporting cheap labor but wants reparations here? Ohhh the hypocrisy.
