I guess trumpkins just blithely moved on from Mexico paying for the wall. Ok.

I'm still surprised when people make this statement. Do liberals think the intent of his statement was Mexico would budget a line item and cut a check to the U.S. to build the wall?

This is why people believe liberals suffer from a mental disorder, have never worked a day in their life and/or have a distorted concept of reality as it pertains tomoney.

He probably was when he thought Mexico was going to pay for it.

Maybe the liar is the guy who kept telling everyone we were going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it?

Your unbridled, irrational anger is misdirected. Sad.

He stated that given that the fiscal year ends in the middle of the year, and the typical latency of implementation, it is reasonable and logical to wait until the following year.

Read that again and dissect each part....

So, because it may have typical latency, we shouldn't fund it so we can make it typically have latency?
Is anything in this budget? Because by that statement, everything will have latency so we shouldn't fund anything, right?

Do you see how you and those like you fall for everything these idiots say to keep everything status quo?

Look, trump may have flaws, but getting projects started and building shite is NOT one of them.

If he is budgeted $, that fricking project will move forward with swiftness!

Sorry, no-good son of a bitch!

I voted for Trump and still thinks he was a much better selection for POTUS than any of the Dims or Repubes, however "The Wall" was a good Pink Floyd album but "a wall" is not needed on the southern border.

Base a few thousand military personnel in strategic locations. Build them decent quarters for training purposes, give them the latest and greatest high tech surveillance gadgetry and let them do their thing.

We secure the border with a much more intimidating barrier and the military gets real world training for our soldiers, drone city baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel fine. Thanks for asking.

I will never apologize for having a great deal of passion & intensity when it comes to matters that affect the health & well-being of my country. I might have hot blood, like most people from Louisiana do, but I'd rather give a damn about important "stuff" than go through life without feeling much of anything. That's why this board has so much traffic. It isn't just happenstance that people from all over the country flock to a political board on an LSU site. From Huey Long going forward, for better or worse, Louisiana has always been passionate about politics.

As for Ryan, he's a snake in the grass. He's a liar. I watched him give an interview about 2 months ago, and he said he was 100% on board with the wall, and that it would be built.

Obviously, he didn't mean a word of that. The groups that have him paid off don't want a wall.

Ryan doesn't work for trump. Ryan is a check and balance to trumps power. How do people not know this shite.

A yes or no would have sufficed.

And we don't need to fortify a border shared with a friendly neighbor and important partner in trade.

Do you have any reading comprehension ability whatsoever?

If Ryan had been fighting Trump over building the wall ever since Inauguration Day,that would be one thing. What you don't get is, Ryan claimed he was 100% on board with building the wall. Now, he's stabbing Trump in the back.

PS - People like you want Trump to fail, so you're fine with this. But if Nancy Pelosi had fought against Obama, you liberal snowflakes would have been livid. A lot of disingenuous, hypocritical comments have been made by you & others in this thread.

Well, I tried to have a civilized, meaningful discussion with you for once, but you still have to be a smug little punk.

Lesson learned.

Did you see that Trump has now threatened all five of America's top trading partners with a trade war since taking office? It's amazing.

Or he's realizing it's unpopular and he has to answer for it much quicker than Trump will.

I don't want Trump to fail that's why I'm opposing him on his shitty plans.

She's allowed to disagree with obama. That's her choice and I may agree or disagree with her opinion. I may also agree or disagree with obama.

No he isn't. His job is 2 fold

1- Listen to his district as a rep for them.

2- List to the platform of the election winner as speaker.

So in other words, present the budget as the Majority wanted... and then he can vote the way his people ask him to.

He is not doing that.

DB probably got swept up in a child porno sting.

Don't know about CA. You'll have to fill me in on that. I can't see that North Carolina granny posting the good stuff, but she links so much content that it might've been an accident?

Maybe she posts on the Rant? Many here don't know this, but Chicken & his minions will ban a sucker 10X faster on the football board. As a businessman, he knows he has to keep the LSU brass happy.

He promotes his parties legislation. Trump never had the support of the republican leadership. Why would they agree with him now? Republican party is and has been a trainwreck for a long time. Too much infighting and philosophical grand standing to get anything done.

No. It's not like other projects funding. It will likely take a year or more to even get a single thing started. There are so many logistical issues and legal issues to work out before then.

The funniest part of your statement is that you say I'm falling for their statements, then you say it would get done "swiftness."

Government and swiftness; what an oxymoron. You sure you aren't a Bernie Supporter?
