Reporter: "How worried are you about the situation in Taiwan? China is kind of keeping a grid around the whole island now."

Biden: "I am not worried, but I'm concerned that they are moving as much as they are, but I don't think they are going to do anything more."

Well this reminds of how he said that the Taliban retaking Afghanistan is highly unlikely a month before they did. Biden has literally been wrong about everything foreign policy related, including the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. I’d rather he not said anything at all.

Joe hasn't been fully briefed yet by his handlers.

Biden is to world affairs as Jim Cramer is to stocks.

If Jim recommends a stock you better sell the shite out of it.

We had no idea Russia was going to invade Ukraine when they did. The buildup of troops for a year was just coincidence

Biden was one of the World leaders consistently saying Russia was going to invade. That is one thing he was right about. He had NATO members ready to impose sanctions as soon as it happened.

Biden is to world affairs as George Costanza is to decision making. Every decision he’s ever made has been the wrong one. He really should just go with Costanza’s correction strategy and just do the opposite of whatever he’s thinking.

To be fair this also applies to the entire United States government from 8/9/45 to present.

I don’t know if we as a nation have made a good foreign policy decision in several generations. Every choice, we chose the worst, most shortsighted, and most expensive option. I would argue that our nonsensical “permanent election” model of government is to blame, but that’s its own thread.

If Biden isn't worried, then surely the Taiwanese shouldn't be worried.

They should be more worried about a blockade and other issues than an invasion.

China has domestic economy issues and the easiest way to get that off the people's minds is war. Hence Pelosi flying to Taiwan. She didn't do that for Taiwan she did it for China so the people's mind is on war instead of the economy.
