Predictions on what happens next:

Easy to posture and claim what did happen -- or should happen. But let's hear predictions on what will happen:
1. Mueller's investigation will continue and complete. He will continue to catch a few subordinates on process crimes, but the entire Russia story will be proven to be false. Trump will be completely vindicated, but the media and democrats will continue to talk about it like it is still a thing.
2. Once the investigation is complete, Trump will be free to fire Sessions, Rosenstein, etc. Gowdy is named head of the FBI or possibly AG.
3. Trump is re-elected with ease.

The IG report is a bombshell, and regardless of what the media tells you the memo will not just go away

It’s the IG report vs the mueller report. Who gets done first and what they report is key. The mueller report will have nothing on collusion but might try for obstruction.

Business as usual. The investigation will continue at least for another six months and both sides will continue to point fingers at each other. Trump will continue to tweet and will not speak with Mueller like he said he would, unless he is subpoenaed.

Something like that. We just have to put up w the left bitching for two more years until Trump can control the media.

Bullshat. There will be a special counsel to investigate the FBI, DOJ, the Clinton email investigation(or lack there of), the Clinton's themselves, etc. etc. Probably after the IG report is issued in March.
Only then will the left and the media begin to sweat.

As the House moves on to phase two involving the criminality of the Obama State Department, the Senate will issue their memo/report led by Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsay Graham in a couple of weeks, maybe three. After Grassley we get the OIG report from Horowitz in about 2 months.

This is what should happen. There will probably be violence in the streets if it does.
I just hope Graham finally shows he really has a pair.
Also have a suspicion that the Trump admin has a lot more in store, now that they have their ducks in a row. They're not as reactionary and emotional as the media makes them out to be.

I think nothing will come of the memo. Nothing happens and no one big ever gets justice meted to them. It's as Bill Bennett said in the title of his book, we have arrived at "The Death of Outrage."
