Trump's fault. If those boys did not wear those hats Venezuela would be safe.

After the failed take “coup“ in Turkey, I’m not hopeful for the results here.

Difference here is that Maduro has never had the kind of cult of personality Chavez had which would have gotten him through end stage communism. Erdrogan, OTOH, was and is still popular in Turkey and not seen as a second choice due to the main leader dying off.

Having something, I don't know... like a right to bear arms, would come in real handy for them right about now.

I wonder why all of these oppressed nations never seem to have any rights like that?

Sean Penn needs to go down there and talk some sense into these people.

Seriously, this seems like exactly the thing the CIA would get its hands into.

Prayers sent. I’ve been to Venezuela a couple of times and my last trip was in 2015. It was a real eye opening experience. Even the people who have some money can’t get basic necessities. Sad thing is that it is a beautiful place that could have a booming tourism industry with the right leadership. Good folks down there.

There's too much history there for Colombia to positively effect Venezuela in an overt way.

It'd be like if the U.S. made a major play in Mexico.
