Sorry you dont like him pointing out left's bull. They spent more time covering the fact he got TWO WHOLE SCOOPS OF ICECREA, than they did the fact he got these three out of serving years in a chinese prison.

Yall play the slanted Coverage game and then get pissy when he has to shine a spotlight on the good hes actually doing, without thanks.

Meanwhile yall send money to a woman who was fired for having profanity on her social media, against her employer's policy. Continue to ignore reality while screaming at the sky because a "white supremacist" "neo-nazi" is your president:

But yea, he's the immature one.

See, I actually felt for Trump on this one.

If he did nothing for these kids (which, in a perfect world, he shouldn't have to) he gets called racist. If he speaks up for them, then you get the usual "the president shouldn't get involved in stuff like this" comments.

Not really much chance for a clean win either way. Tough position to be in that I though he handled well.......

....right up until he tweets dumb shite like this.

Right, because a year ago when you boys were high fiving and celebrating all the great things that maga would bring about, 3 basketball players at UCLA being released from a chinese jail was exactly what everyone meant.

No, what's funny is that you believed dogs wear condoms and kids play soccer with no soccer balls

University should still suspend their asses.

And Trump should keep his fingers still on this one. Plenty of people are giving him credit and the ones that aren't are looking like jackasses.

So in your opinion should he have left them there?

Let me put that tweet into context of importance.

I suspect that this thread will have an over whelming number of responses of "narcissist", "child", "needy" type of buzz words.

But let's just project things a bit for levity. Let's play a game where Obama had interjected on the player's behalf. Honestly, objectively, if Obama had gotten those kids home in the manner that Trump did, what would be the response, both by the Media and by members of this internet community.

I suspect there would've been a universal and monumental blow job directed at Obama's manhood.

There is the context of this tweet.

It once again highlights where our society has evolved since Nov 9th of last year. People can not even take a moment and congratulate our President for taking action to get some knuckle-heads home who are clearly guilty of breaking laws in a foreign country and embarrassing our nation and themselves.

I get his frustration. If Obama had done this it would be all over the news .....ucla public thankyou.....families public thankyou. Obama is so great blah blah blah. Obama wouldn't have even had the balls to ask president xi.....

Look what happened to Otto Warmbier on Obamas watch.

If these three kids have an opportunity to do good right now. MASSIVE opportunity.

They can contact Trump and do a public thank you to Trump and a public apology to UCLA, their fans and all Americans. They have a chance to use the bully pulpit. This is big opportunity for them to turn lemons into lemonade.

My opinion is not about the basketball players, I dont really care. Good for them, hopefully theyve learned the err of their ways, but three kids skating on shoplifiting charges in a foreign country is hardly making america great. begging for credit about it on twitter afterwards, while expected, is still pathetic.

I don't agree with him begging on twitter but I still think there is a very real hypocrisy that is taking place.
Obama would literally get a parade for doing something like this but the progs and media in this country can't give an inch or an attaboy to this president. It says more about the progs and the media than it does Trump.

I love when Trump says something petty and pathetic and then the Trumpkins come running in to tell us the true meaning behind it
