So does that mean the federal government can’t hold funds for anything anymore like LA hwy money when we didn’t want to raise the drinking age? Of course not only with liberal crazy crap that makes no logical sense.

The obvious answer is that he's hiding from who he really is. If he listed what he really believed in and how he actually lives his life, it would be very clear what he stands for.

Also, ruling is correct, the federal government can't withhold funds it's already agreed to give, it can however, refuse to make deals in the future and anyone with a lick of sense IE not a a Democrat, would know that they can refuse to offer future deals to so called sanctuary cities.

Nationwide injunctions in lower courts are illegal and not the job of a district court or even an appeals court.
That's the job of the Supremes, Congress or the President.

Should at the very least be sure to spend the grant money on the cost to defend against this mess. Be sure to cut checks to the places/entities actually in compliance 1st too as the rest is disputed pending appeal. Which defunds the sanctuary places by attrition...
