That's why I left California. Too many weaklings like SBBruin who want to be locked down, want mandatory masks and restrictions and mandates.
I almost got arrested at a park in San Diego last April when I was running there. Couldn't even go out and exercise. Had to stand in lines outside in the sun for 2 hours just to grocery shop because of capacity limitations. Gym was closed for 4 months and when it finally re opened mandatory masks and SD police would come in to make sure this was being enforced. And not enough patriots in CA to stand up to that shite.
And SBBruin wants more of that.

I tell you what, you keep you CA politics out of the rest of the states affairs and we will not give a rats azz what you all do out there. Ca. politics like to create problems and then make those problems everyone elses problem.
Your fires are mostly the results of tree hugger policies not global warming. Ca. give license to non citizens who then use those state issued credential in other states. Ca. steal election using ballot harvesting and then tries to make it a federal law. Ca. policies create high taxes which requires higher pay and then you all think we all should raise pay to meet Ca. pay. Ca city folk cant responsibly own a gun so you think guns should be illegal for everyone.

I still can't buy a gun because I still have a California license as my main ID... gun dealers tell me they will sell to a purchaser with a license from any state but CA since they don't want to deal with their shite.
The problem is to get a new license here in Texas I have to make an appointment with the DMV because stupid COVID restrictions mean you have to do it via appointment. I booked my appointment back in July when I moved here and the quickest appointment I could get was September 21, an hour away in Stephenville. But at least I can finally buy a gun afterward.
Buying a gun legally in California, the hurdles you have to jump through were ridiculous.

Not anymore. The notion that San Diego is some conservative bastion in a blue state is very outdated. The mayoral primary in 2020 produced two democrats to vote for in the general. No Republican was a top 2 vote getter.
The problem is the military has become more and more woke, and then the professional class that resides in places like La Jolla and UTC are now a reliable democrat voting bloc. There aren't enough blue collar working class types in places like El Cajon and Santee to offset the white collar liberals who have shifted to the left over the last 8 years.
I keep telling people, the professional class is gone. They are not coming back - they are now a reliable democrat voting bloc.

So nothing will change your mind. I get it. Behind the cloak of an anonymous chat board you can be vulgar and rude. My guess is if we were in person and talking over a beer you'd be more civil. But I get it. Feel like we need a little more kindness and attempts at dialogue -- some here engage thoughtfully and I've learned some things myself.

Since the vaccinated can still spread the virus, why are they not required to take a test each week too?
