Apparently they said it was because the parody account was too similar to her actual account. I shite you not, I'm not making that up.

All of ya'll should go and listen to Rogan's podcast with Jack Dorsey and listen to the challenges Twitter has with this stuff. The one with Vijaya Gadde General Counsel explains why they take some of the actions they do.
They are also the first ones to admit they aren't perfect and want a platform for all voices.

If they weren't sincere, why did Dorsey and Gadde just meet with Trump the other week in the Oval Office to explain all of this? Trump was bitching his followers were down 2.5% after Twitter deleted a bunch of bogus accounts. They explained to Trump why they did that and he ceased bitching about it.
