Wouldn't a more effective strategy be to not post your plan on Twitter? Hard to pat yourself on the back when no one knows your plan, though.

A simple statement at the right time/scenario can do more to change the political dynamic than Congress or 100s of millions $ of MSM ads.
Just like if Sessions or any high profile individual would say that any Dreamer/Illegal caught casting an illegal FELONY vote would be disqualified from any future 'amnesty' deal. The Dems wouldn't have to worry about hiding all those illegal votes...because they'd never SHOW UP at the Polls. Chokeout!

Probably not a good idea to scare people away from shelters. Now the sheriff won't be able to arrest as many people with oustanding warrants as he could have by just keeping his mouth shut.

No the PLAN is to protect victims of the storm. Broadcasting this helps that. They decide not to go to the shelters.
