How much could it possibly cost to have a visible police presence (1 uniformed security person; 1 marked security vehicle) at each school? I would guess it would be inconsequential relative to the total school budget. Wal-Mart has parish deputies parked there almost all day. Many banks have them inside.

Idk about other states but schools in Arkansas already have a cop assigned to them that stays there all day.

How hard will it be to add a gameplan to take out Paul Blart to the shooter’s intentions?

Train a volunteer group of teachers just like plants do with employees for firefighting.

Option A is like having the sky Marshal introduce himself over the PA pre-flight. A small, inner school group of anonymous teachers would provide a better deterrent and bigger challenge.

Or both

Most of Louisiana public schools already have uniformed officers that work on their off days protecting schools. If Louisiana can figure it out every state but Mississippi can too.
