Police in this country are only going to get drastically worse

1. Retirements are at an all time highs
2. Police precincts are hugely understaffed
People of character want no part of that job. Minorities are severely discriminated by their own communities for taking that job.
The only people left for the MOST part are 2 types.
1. People who are untrainable and that should NEVER carry a weapon.
2. Assholes who are going to use their power to bully normal citizens.
Cities will be forced to take these people because no one else wants that job. And no one seems to be talking about this.

Maybe it will tilt the level headed people back to a party who actually wants their safety intact.
If we're honest, all this socialism talk, minimum wage increase etc is great fodder, but in reality, it will cripple the economy and force multiple businesses out of hiring new people.
And sadly, this needs to happen to wake up the idiots.

Or, it's going to be bad because of media, undesirable work conditions and retirements? (This is the way I see it)
It used to be that firemen were "johnny on the spot to house fire's to try and save them". Now, they show up hoping to save the surrounding homes. They'll shut down whole high ways for a small fender bender that should have left the high way after the incident to begin with.
Police used to be minutes away when seconds count. Now they'll be hours away when minutes count. (AND I DON'T BLAME THEM)

Many who can’t retire in bluer cities are leaving the areas or states. Many are willing to take a huge pay cut. Cities are losing many officers who actually give a shite and want to help.

I know you’re not saying this is their fault or shoddy police work. Just imagine how it will be. Having 100 something officers on shift and having 100 priority calls going on at once. Can’t say sorry ma’am you were rapped good luck, but two blocks over there is a stabbing.

This is step 1 in the plan. Step 2 is blanket amnesty and citizenship. Step 3 is to hire MS13 members and now they have their own private army.
