Frick that guy. And frick WV- the most MAGA of any state for sending Manchin back to caucus with Schumer and the Dems.

Agreed. Even if Manchin votes for Kav, WV should still vote Him out. He's a Dem, and supports/enables the delusion/corruption of Obama/Hillary/Deep State/Soros Progs/et al. In the near future, it will be impossible for any person of sane judgment - much less Dem - to support where the Dem Party will be forced to go by the Progressive Left.
By '20, they'll officially be the Democratic Socialist Party. Probably go ahead and get rid of God in their Platform, since Obama won't be there or even could to sway them like back in His second campaign...when they shut down the anti-God MAJORITY in the Dem Convention. Pissed em' off.

Your perfect scenario is correct but, unfortunately, the worst case scenario is more likely: Flake, Murk and Collins vote no and Manchin votes yes with Shumers blessing.

Manchin truthfully should just change parties like the governor did. No one would bat an eye in this state and he would guarantee that he would stay in the Senate as long as he wanted to.

Actually I would prefer 50 Rs with Collins being the designated GOP no vote considering she represents blue state Maine and is up for reelection in 2020.
The GOP just needs 50 votes to Mike Pence breaking the tie and that means we need two of Murk, Flake and Collins. Really prefer Flake and Murk falling on their sword.

There's no way in hell President Trump and the GOP would allow Susan Collins to get primaried regardless of how she votes. I know Collins sucks but she is one vote that is keeping Chuck Schumer out of the Majority Leader's seat.
