I won money off friends in 2016 betting them Trump would win. I think my earliest bet was in May.

I'm starting to feel lucky again this year.

am i the only one who finds this amusing?

It reminds me of the time I went to a wedding. The dude was marrying a cousin of my wife's. It was his 5th wedding. When he started the vows and all the "for better, worse, sick, health...til death do us part" I actually started laughing out loud and the entire area around me were fighting the giggles to keep composed.

No chance I would've taken that bet. He had way too much working against him. Glad you won though

Honestly should be talked about DAILY.

The same talking heads and morons on MS-Fake Media speak as if they are factual yet its and rinse and repeat of 2016.

One of the first people that came to mind regarding this was David Brooks, a true definition of a pseudo intellectual.

he lost by 3M votes, but won where he needed to by a fraction of that.

Talking heads and pundits are fricking fools in general, but they can get a pass on getting this one wrong from me.

100%, you could feel the energy behind his election. I felt it very early on.

Look no further than some on this board.

Prime example: Otto/CelticDog. His every pronouncement fairly drips with the arrogance of believing he knows better, yet I’m convinced he’s functionally retarded.

Yes and it's constant and as you say, so unequivocal it's pathetic.

So they were predicting it was going to be a close call? That's not how I remember it.

No, I think they were lazy. They saw that the polling reflected Hillary had a decent lead and set the narrative from there. The pundit class was too busy talking about how historic her victory would be to take a deeper dive into the numbers.
