Here’s how Louisiana votes in Presidential elections.

Here’s how Louisiana voted on Saturday.

Looks to me if Rispone does better in South Louisiana he wins the election.

Rispone’s poor performance in St Landry, East and West Feliciana, West Baton Rouge, Assumption, St Charles, Jefferson, and St Bernard Parishes cost him the election.

People are upset and looking to complain using their pissed off north Louisiana argument when the real answer is found in Rispone’s backyard.

Obviously north LA didn’t vote as much for the Republican like they usually do as we can see by the map. But that doesn’t matter if south LA does it’s job. Putting the blame on north LA is dumb and it’s people trying to pat themselves on the back after trying to create the north/south divide before it even would have happened.

People were too concerned about North LA turning out and they took South LA for granted. Instead of two North LA rallies they should have brought Trump to Baton Rouge to spark the South LA turnout.

If coonasses can't stop getting drunk while gambling in a Catholic church long enough to vote, that's their problem

Upper right corner, middle blue on the river, move one left, the one that doglegs right.....Abraham's home parish. Abraham's own parish did its job for Rispone. Where were they at in S.LA??

**Boat I know you know Richland Parish, description is for others.

Sounds a little nicer than the version thrown at the north.

True, there's room to improve with darker shades of red. Besides Caddo, maaybe Natchitoches....those blues don't have much in the way of population.

Ouachita sorta surprises me. But then again, maybe not. West of the river and north of Monroe has grown steadily I suppose. No further comment.

Very strange that the areas along the river, where so many plant employees live and work, who would benefit tremendously from the CEO of an industrial construction company being governor voted for JBE. Definitely odd not that JBE won, but how he won.

That map made me laugh for real.

Damn Rispone sucked ballz as a candidate.

Dude was leading his own cheer in Monroe

What a loser.

Rispone was a polarizing candidate. His first commercial is what did him in. He oozed creepiness.

Not an Abraham shill. No way Abraham is elected Governor. Why? He's from North Louisiana. South La Republicans will break ranks and vote for JBE before they will for a Governor from North La. Know when the last time a La governor came from North Louisiana? 31 years ago! 1988 Buddy Roemer.

It is not surprising given the fact that Jefferson is the most ethnically diverse parish in the state. White, black,Hispanic a sizable ME and Indian population.....but forget the blue vs red. It was red vs pink .Edwards got about 40% in St.Tammany and other suburban parishes.

The problem, is we are still entirely too stupid as an electorate. Not saying everyone that voted for JBE is stupid, but a lot of the people that did, are.

I witnessed many posts on facebook of, "Is JBE pro-life?" That was the only reason they voted for him. Nevermind the fact that Rispone is very pro-life, but they ignored everything about our shitty economy here, and tried to make themselves feel better for voting for him by saying, "well at least he's pro-life".

The people in this state only understood "well we now have a budget surplus". Not "well he taxed us 3 times and we are now one of the highest taxed states per capita, in the country.

They ignore the fact that businesses don't want to set foot in this country because of the trial lawyer/litigation mentality. We are known as THE TRIAL LAWYER STATE. But these people are ok with it because JBE is "pro-life".

Too many damn blue blood republicans in this state that aren't smart enough to look into the actual issues. I just hope Louisiana can survive another 4 years of awful anti-business, higher tax policies.

I can assure it wasn’t North LA. That dude is loathed in North LA. He took money from the police juror funds in North LA to make repairs to the super dome. Same old shite.

not necessarily. WBR, PC, Assumption, Ibberville are agriculture parishes that happen to have industrial sectors as well. I can see them voting for JBE.
The plant workers (you think would support ER) don't necessarily live in these parishes.
