Countries with far fewer resources than us count tens of millions of ballots in hours. Our election integrity is non-existent.

We sort of ask for this by having all the states run their own thing. That said, I'm not sure I would want centralized control over federal elections, either.

They’re getting raked over the coals in the comments and rightly so. If they can’t get it done within an hr after the polls close then they should be fired and never allowed to work in an election again.

I'm old enough to remember when less sophisticated voting methods produced auditable results faster.
