Pence shouldn’t have to go to Georgia to help the GOP candidate win the Governorship

The state might be more purple than many would hope.

Atlanta is like a city-state.

How is the Dem this close?

Dude, you sound like Hildabeast, we don't have to go to Wisky or Michigan.. You have to show up everywhere to get out the vote... ...

Kemp isn't the most inspired pick. He's better than Abrams but how the f did we end up here.

Georgia will be Blue very soon if not next week. Look at the shifting demographics there for one. Georgia is in for a special treat if Abrams wins.

Republicans work hard. The President shouldn't have to go to FL either, but he's going twice. We work while they have their kumbaya parties.

Birth rates and migration to other states will continue this until the collapse, GA, FL, TX, NC. Ultimately it will end with a giant civil unrest and the country will tear itself apart. Just my prediction

Abrams and lots of outside special interest groups are trying to drive up turnout in GA to presidential election year numbers. The difference between the vote total for the GOP Governor and the Dem candidate in the last Governor’s race (2014) is about the difference in turnout between a presidential election year and a midterm year (ie Gov’s race in GA). That’s Abrams path. If she can make up that difference in voters turning out in a presidential year, she has a chance if Republicans are lazy and don’t vote. Kemp isn’t a bad candidate. It will be close, but it is due to the Abrams strategy and outside money.

This is very true. I moved six months ago and Atlanta is trending towards the left.

Kemp definitely leaves a lot to be desired and Georgia republicans would be a hell of a lot better off with Nathan Deal running again.

In a state like Georgia that's trending swing purple, candidates matter and you have to select the one that's the most electable while being the most conservative. Kemp isn't a deal breaker but he's not a deal sealer.

Pence needs to go back home to Indiana and get his people in line. The democrat has a huge lead in the Senate race there.

Presidents and VP's have been coming to stump in Georgia for a very long time. They aren't just stumping for governors, but for the whole party of seats on the ballot here. In Georgia, people are so used to the republicans winning that alot of people don't bother voting. We just want to let them know they need to get out and vote this time, because it might not be the usual landslide.

Don't overthink this. Don't let the talking heads confuse you.

Kemp is winning Georgia.

Member when John Ossoff was gonna beat the shite out of Karen Handel in the special election here? Hell, even I thought Ossoff had it in the bag.

Handel wiped her pussy with him and flushed him down the toilet.

Don't underestimate Georgia Republicans.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

But I don't think so.

And this is why I lol at this board’s hubris and confidence that they are winning and the Dem party is dead. The left is more radical than they have ever been and they are close in elections in Texas, Georgia, Indiana, and Florida.

Tons of Hispanics and northerners have flooded into Atlanta the past 15-20 years and are continuing to do so. It's a silent take over.

It happened in Virginia, it's happening in North Carolina, it's happening in Georgia, it's happening in Texas and Arizona.

That's why if immigration is not brought under control America as we know it will be over in about 3 or 4 more generations.

America will quickly devolve into the globes fanciest third world socialist shithole.

You'll probably see massive white flight to a few pockets of functional civilization.
