Yes... she did that today.

quote:

Pelosi, a California Democrat, told reporters Thursday that she is preparing House Democrats for a potential role in determining the winner with a vote by each state delegation.

But if a majority still does not emerge for either Trump or Biden, Pelosi said, “then it goes into another range where the speaker becomes the [president]. It’s complicated after that.”

quote:

In such a scenario, each House state delegation would cast one vote for president, depending on the majority party in each delegation.

Pelosi said she is aiming for Democrats to be able to cast at least 26 votes, a bare majority, which would hand the White House to Biden.

The goal here is there will be no winner due to the chaos the Dems are creating.

They will need to flip just 2 state houses on Nov 3rd.

The Constitution requires Congress to certify the election on Jan. 6 next year, which is a few days after the new Congress is seated.

So, be sure to vote for Republicans in your state races, even if you have a Dem state rep you like.

I'm praying to 8lb 6oz baby Jesus that we get a Trump victory AND control of the House just to watch Pelosi melt like the Wicked Witch of the West.

I hope Trump and Trump's team are successful in the courts to stop the fraud.

Each day that passes sees ballot harvesting and cheating.

The state houses don't get to vote.

Your state's congressional delegation from the House of Reps get one vote.

If the senate elects the Vice President, can the President fire the VP during the term and nominate a new person? Genuinely curious.

that would probably require winning multiple seats in those 2 state houses which isn't likely

That's not how it works. Every state congressional delegation gets 1 vote and those delegations are comprised of the individual House Members from each state.

So if a state has 5 Republican congressman and 3 Democrats, that state would cast 1 vote for Trump.

The majority of states are RED and this is not expected to change. A tie in the electoral college - which is possible but unlikely - would still result in a Trump victory.

No the state houses have nothing to do with choosing the President.

It would require flipping 2 state delegations, which depending on the state could be just one Congressman.

Is this guaranteed to be the case? Can any of the RINOs vote Democrat?
