And remember, you pay for internet use. It's NEVER been free.

Yes, be right now all sites and content are on the same playing field. With this repeal even this site can be slowed down if it doesn't support the right message the ISPs wants it to, or if the site managers don't pay a preminum price to make sure this content isn't throttled. So the ISPs can double dip and charge the content creators and the consumers.

Ever heard of the FDA? Or are we better off without an agency making sure the food and medications we take are safe?

Just because it's government doesn't mean it's always bad.

I have heard, in 2015, it forced Fox and the like to give equal airtime to liberal views as conservative views so it tells media business how they can sell their product. It's also why you see CNN fake conservative time giving it to Scarborough airhead types that supposedly make conservative airtime. You won't hear this in MSM though
This is clueless. Fox and MSNBC had liberals and Scarborough, respectively, long before NN.

Why is Google for keeping the net neutrality rules in place? Who do you think wrote and helped create the net neutrality rules? You think Google wants net neutrality to stay there because they love us all and want what's best for us? Seriously?

Google makes it's money through ads. So in their interest they want a cheap and fast internet for all consumers. More people with fast, reliable internet, the more eyes their ads get.

Google doesn't want to pay ISPs, it's not about consumer protection.

Can't it be both?
Both help Google's bottom line and increase their profits with out hurting the consumers.

What percentage of voters can define “net neutrality” if asked?

A very intelligent friend of mine who has always been very mildly progressive couldn't get beyond "the intent is to keep control of the internet out of the hands of big corporations!"
