To put it simply.....no. Obama fricked it up so bad, that a black man being President won't happen for a long long time. That dumbass exhibited all that can be found wrong with the black race. The Left is already lining up Bernie-style Candidates who will nullify any sane Dem Candidate for the Nomination. The Dems will get the Urban vote like last time...and lose all the Red on that Map. But when Trump makes it public that any ILLEGAL who votes (feloniously so) will LOSE any chance at future Amnesty/Citizenship...that will be the end of the 'we won the popular vote' scenario. C'mon, we all know they were already searching for a black, lesbian, muslim, 1st generation American born to undocumented patriots who grew up in poverty, possibly a victim of gun violence or #metoo who has thrived in spite of white men trying to keep her down and America's systematic racism.

Why settle for one characteristic of identity politics when you can have them all baked into a single candidate?

But seriously, don't be surprised when they roll out a super progressive candidate. 2020 will be hard for them to unseat Trump, so it's the perfect election to test the electorate waters on a super progressive candidate. Expect the baseless allegations of racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, and islamophobia to ramp up big time.
