This is an observational study, but it is a legit study in a legit peer reviewed Journal.

In this multi-hospital assessment, when controlling for COVID-19 risk factors, treatment with hydroxychloroquine alone and in combination with azithromycin was associated with reduction in COVID-19 associated mortality.

This was promising until it was discovered that Trunp's blind trust had $500 in stock of the manufacturer of it and Fauci didn't have any positions in it.

It's unfortunate.

According to a protocol-based treatment algorithm, among hospitalized patients, use of hydroxychloroquine alone and in combination with azithromycin was associated with a significant reduction in-hospital mortality compared to not receiving hydroxychloroquine.

BUT THE LUPUS PATIENTS WILL HAVE TO...use one of the various other treatments to keep their rash under control when they go out in daylight

In the study
26.4% with no drug died
22.4 azithromycin alone (combo was only given to severe patients)
20.1 with both azith and hydro
13.5 with hydro alone

Hydro was only given to patients with minimal chance of cardiac risk factors
