Our media is behaving like one under communist rule

This is no new revelation, but it’s angers me greatly.
We have a media, 100% in the tank for one party. This is the type of behavior we see in communist countries or countries with dictators.
Without a free and fair press, we are dead, and set the stage for a socialist or communist regime to take over.
Why can’t they see the long term repercussions of suppressing or manipulating the truth?

They don't care. They have all been programmed as statists and political correctness. They are uneducated about the enlightenment, Locke, Voltaire, Jefferson and only think about Karl Marx and Engels. They forgot or never knew what happened in the USSR or Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan.

What is truly disturbing about what has happened to the news media in this country is that these seditious piles of crap are doing so WILLINGLY.
In true dictatorships, the party in power takes over at the point of a gun. No dissents is allowed, or the dissenters disappear. These fools think they're safe from repercussions.
They may be for now, but one wrong tweet or a misleading paragraph and cancel culture will come for them. What is astonishing is the politicians don't have to do a thing. The "journalists" do it all for them - free of charge.

It starts with breaking up google and making Facebook and Twitter the publishers that they already are. Until that is done the majority will only hear one side.

They are behaving like they are under communist rule because they are. The Chinese communist party has them by the short and curlies, just like anyone who wants to do business and make money in the gigantic Chinese market.
Tech giants lose big time (bigly?) if they criticize CCP, so they suppress it here and take their profits. Media companies have more at stake than just their national news programs... same. Hooked on the prospect of international cash flows from China, movie studios do the same.
Media is bought and paid for, and they are told what to say based on protecting their access to Chinese markets (as well as by their teleprompter made in China.)
